Ughhh…
The weather outside is so lousy. Joey was home because they canceled school. Our city would rather see everyone fall apart from frostbite than call off one day of school. Every other city in a 50 mile radius will cancel school, but Stow probably figures it’s compensating for how dumb our students are by making them go. So, this is a big deal. It also means I can’t freaking go anywhere. Yeah, I went to work, but no, I can’t take the car to kung fu. Guys, I have a belt test next month. This broadsword form I have to learn is beastly. I’m stressing out.
A few sides are bright, though.
Bright side #1: Dustin called me yesterday, so that means he is back on American soil and therefore not dead at the hands of the enemy. Who IS the enemy, anyway? I stopped paying attention a while ago, I kind of figured the whole world loves it when you don’t get down, ba baaa, ba ba ba daaaa hated us because we were dumb or something. Although this can apparently be resolved by reinforcing the attendance of school (even at the risk of having a skidding car mow right over a herd of high school girls)(nevermind, go right ahead). Even if we were statistically smarter than other countries, I’m sure the whole world loves it when you make that sound, ba baaa, ba ba ba daaa would hate us for some other reason anyway, like how we dress up our tiny pet dogs in frilly costumes. Anyway, Dustin called me so that was all well and good.
Bright side #2: I finally started my period, which means I wasn’t immaculately impregnated (always good to not be pregnant at the age of 1
or abducted by aliens (also not so good, according to those sci-fi documentaries). My body is probably just all wonky because I’ve lost a crazy amount of weight out of nowhere (Bright side #3), the same kind of thing happens to anorexic girls. Only I’m not anorexic (Bright side #4?).
Just to mention a dark side in the polygon of my life, Fatal Frame IV looks like it’s going to be a Wii exclusive release, according to this IGN article. Sigh, maybe one day, when I have a few hundred dollars that I just don’t know what else to do with.
Oh, about the title of this post. I had to register a new domain name because my old one expired even though its renewal was paid for around Christmas time. Yeah, guys, I wouldn’t really recommend GISOL for web hosting. So, I went and registered a new name, spicyivy.net (I liked the way it looked, okay?) and I’m still looking around for a host that won’t suck. Hopefully that’ll be the new home of my raw works, sans the uninteresting posts that you get coming here. GREAT!
Time to continue reorganizing my iTunes library. I just recently noticed how messy it was and had to jump on it. There was stuff in there that people downloaded months ago, people I don’t even talk to anymore.
